Padel tennis news: soon you can play padel in Peißenberg and Uedem (Kleeve)
The German padel community continues to grow steadily - now the next two padel projects are coming up in Peißenberg (Bavaria) and Uedem (Kleeve district):
Padel in Peißenberg:
A new sports facility for padel, a mixture of tennis and squash, is to be built in Peißenberg.
At a general meeting of TSV Peißenberg, the planned new construction of the padel courts at the tennis facility, which is to cost approx. 130,000 euros, was discussed.
Peter Eckert junior, head of the tennis department, and Manfred Fichtner, technical director of TSV, presented the project.
It was decided that the court rental for 45 minutes will be approximately €25, with TSV members receiving a discount.
A large part of the costs are covered by a BLSV sports facility subsidy and input tax deduction.
The rest is financed by TSV's own capital and interim financing.
The financing was assessed as conclusive and the construction was unanimously approved.

The Uedem TC is planning to build the first padel tennis courts in the district of Kleve.
With this trend sport, the club wants to attract new members and also make the courts available to the public.
Although local politicians were surprised by the idea, they show support for the project.
So far, there is no padel facility in the Kleve district, but the Lower Rhine Tennis Association in Essen has had two such courts since 2015.
